Wonderful shorter less shed fur and shiney/ glossy coat. color down the legs to white paws ! ( these can be rare as a preference.) sleves like these are adorable ! one was called : "Eddie Bauer" for the color inside and outside the leg being different shades of chocolate. Sometimes these pups can even be waterproof seeming , water pours off their fur at first like water off a ducks back. Many years of development have gone into producitn this type of pets.

we cant be sure of coloring as an adult , but rare colored pups never seem to have the dark brown eyes of a tri color, usually they have a tint of greenish blue coloring in a lighter tan eye.

We stopped by to visit her, and show them our newest khaki, and chocolate colored puppies. We joked with her blond parents about having chosen the only lemon in her litter cause they matched ! Folks often choose a puppy that matches them well , just as people choose a mate who resembles themselves ! They posed for our Yuppy Puppy Photo !! Margaret's mom was expecting their 1st human baby and having learned from raising her was a good initial experience in parenthood for the young couple !

Animator Amy Adamy from CA flies out to pick up her new
puppy "DokiDoki", and carries him on board the plane for the flight
home!
The Case family had previoulsy adopted one of our khaki boys, "Justin" Case. Grandad fell in love with their Sunshine Acres Beagle, and wanted one of his own!
David and Irene got him the best birthday gift, his very own Companion Pet!

His mom e-mailed after seeing a yahoo ad and bought him online then the family took a Ferry across at dawn and came in a rainstorm to get him ! they still stay in touch and let us know how Slate is doin these days from time to time... he has a bunny friend and a ball of fur new companion in the family nowdays !

Thought you'd get a kick out of seeing the new "Do" on Slate LOl.. he is
doing great, can't believe he is 3 already~ we were looking at some of his
puppy photos and my gosh he was so darn adorable.. no wonder we fell in
love online!!
He's enjoying our newest addition to the family.. we got a dwarf bunny
for my daughter.. "Jessica" and Slate are best buddies.. the irony!!!!
Will have to take some photos of them playing for you.. they play this
hide and seek game around the couch... and Jess pops out and Slate just go
nuts and gives her kisses when she'll let him.. he truly gets along with
everyone huh?? take care Sunshine Network!
She and her husband met one of our khaki nano girls, "Nina", in a coffee shop in San Fransisco with a young professional couple David & Michelle who were on their laptops while on an outing with their only child Nina! Karen and Jon discussed how Nina's small size would be great as a traveling companion on their many trips.

strictly a member of their family is their desire. We are not claiming to breed
for hunting and
improve the beagle breed for Hunting and Field Trial enthusiasts who want a
beagle whose traits were bred for those purposes, we breed for companions, and we leave
hunting breeding to the other
reputable breeders who specialize in designing their beagles for those
customers. Our dogs are bred to be family pets for approved homes and do
not go to breeders, hunters, or pet stores. We don't claim to have the only rare color beagles, simply that we are the

we have worked to improve upon our bloodline for conformation, health,
intelligence & temperament, avoiding breeding dogs known to have any faults that would
make them less desirable as the perfect match for someone to cherish as their
compatible indoor companion, meanwhile doing
our very best to weed out any issues that come up as all reputable breeders do
by valueing the pet owner's feedback, a reputable breeder wants to hear from
customers so that they can continue to improve their lines. We have also worked
to weed out the negative beagle stereotypes
you may have heard of from your friends and acquaintances when you mentioned
getting a beagle for a housepet; While beagles are wonderful loving creatures,
many people over the years have relayed their bad experiences in getting a
beagle from different lines that were not necessarily designed to be a housepet,
but rather who's natural tendency to run rabbits overpowered their love of
family, and they escaped their backyard to use the talents that it was designed
and selectively enhanced for. Rather than keep a negative impression of the
breed for pets, they were happy to find our beagle website and read the many
success stories from our happy beagle families, saying they were still in love
with the breed, but looking to find one raised in a family environment for
families like theirs, after having had a beagle who was understandably not
content with simply being a family member as their main purpose in life. We know
there are plenty of beagles over the years that have made fine pets from other
breeders' kennels and that every dog is different, we're just working to improve them even more as lovable
lapdogs as their first objective.

hand raising overall great pets is our heart's desire, we are not only focusing
our attention on a specific trait, color, or size; We focus on all qualities
because striving for an isolated
trait could mean sacrificing the integrity of the other traits if ignored
(such as those out there only concerned with size,
etc.)
Instead, we are looking to improve the breed we love in all areas for other
pet-owners, and not only conformation
and temperament, we also consider the quality of all their traits before
keeping a puppy to add to our breeding program, so that we can continue to have
and develop puppies that are best suited as family members in your responsible pet
home. Since we do not allow anyone to breed our companion pets and add them to
other kennels' atmospheres, other breeders should not feel affected by us altering the
original purpose of the beagle breed to run rabbits and it affecting future
generations, since we are the only source of our bloodline that goes into
forever pet-homes.

Sara flies in to take home her Nano sized chocolate buddy Charlie, she has already sent a second deposit to get another she has enjoyed the first experience so much ! "He has grown into SUCH a handsome boy. People comment all the time on how good looking he is. And he just has the best personality...such a lover. A friend came over who was having a rough time and Charlie seemed to sense in and just gave him nothing but love and snuggles - didn't leave his lap. Puppy therapy is such a real thing. Charlie saves on heating bills by keeping my bed warm in the winter ;) and I have reached a new level of hatred for Mondays when I have to go to the office and leave him after a fabulous weekend of fetch and snuggles. I think of you all so often and cannot begin to express how thankful I am for all you do to raise such incredible dogs. Charlie has improved my life in countless ways."

"Mabel" we were able to meet with 2 customers at Douglas International airport that day so they could take their little ones back home onboard with them and sit right next to their new baby flying home
this father and son team flew into Charlotte from Florida to bring home their little guy while mom and siblings cheered them on!

Here at Sunshine Acres Beagle Puppies we raise the best family dogs from our house pet parents. Each one is given the special attention and care you would want your new family pet to receive from the day its born to the time it is ready to go home with you to join your family. We work with them on house training, using paper, as well as taking them outside so they will fit right into your home as the perfect small house dog. We specialize in happy home bodies , so they make great indoor companion pets, and loving Lap dogs. Hand raised to be more than just cute puppies for sale these are in many people's opinion the best small breed dog for kids. Many beagle breeders specialize in hunting hounds raised for traits we do not breed for. Our beagle Pups for sale come from AKC Show Champion and CDX Companion dog origins from the North West, and over many years of careful selection choosing our bloodlines ancestors for qualities we find most beneficial to our line to create the dogs best for families look for an indoor pet. Our baby beagles come in standard size & 13 inch beagles, as well as our very special mini beagles, or as some pocket beagle breeders call them "Pocket Beagle Puppies". We also have worked on coats to develop a shorter fur that sheds considerably less than the typical beagle dogs you will find elsewhere from many other beagle breeders nationwide, this is one of the many reasons we have customers come to us from all over the nation to purchase their new pet for a house dog. We rarely advertise as most of our customers are often repeat customers who loved their Sunshine Acres Beagle Puppy so much they want another to enjoy and for their current sunshine acres beagle to enjoy, or friends of someone who has had such a great experience with us they too decide to get their new beagle baby from our family ! Our beagle puppies are for sale in north carolina, but people all over drive to us to choose one, or have us ship their choice via the priority parcel dog shipping service most airlines across the country offer. some of which are much more rare than others. What is exclusive to our bloodline
is the many years selective breeding we've done to increase the quality of
coats, softness, and shorter length of fur coat, and due to their quality, in
many cases the richness & vibrance of the color, and decrease the amount of fur
that comes out, since these are intended to be indoor housepets.
